Events - Event View

We are meeting at the Bodgery on May 7th.  Bring a chair.  

We will have a raffle so please bring in your spare wood and usable tools and shop accessories.  We will be trying a 50/50 split the pot raffle.  

We have a great change of pace for this meeting.  First we have students from West HS mentoring program who entered their pieces in the Skills USA competition and were award winners in their categories.  They will be presenting their works to us and we will get more info on the program.  Congratulations to the students and the mentors.  

Also we will kick off a new public service and community outreach program.  Cancer patients may often loose their hair and choose to wear a wig for many months.  Wig stands turned by our club can be donated to cancer paitients.  These can be decorated or natural finishes.   This has been a popular and well recieved program around the country.  You will see a demo and get an explaination of the program.
