How do I add a photo to the Show and Tell forum?

The Show and Tell Forum is available to Badger Woodturners members only.

  1. Log onto the website with your username/password.

  2. Select (click on/tap) the Forum and Classifieds menu tab.

  3. Select Show and Tell to enter the forum.

  4. Select add an item to open the Post Message window.

  5. Enter a Subject title and add a description of your project.

  6. To add your photo, select the Insert Image icon  at the top of the text window. A Select Image window opens.

  7. Select Choose File and browse to the image that you want to add. The Select Image window displays the image filename you have selected. Select OK to upload your image.

    Note: The upload time depends on the size of your photo. If you are uploading a high resolution photo, be prepared to wait a while.

    Note: You can also add an image to your post by selecting the paper clip at the bottom-left side of the Post Message window. However, the image will be an attachment that shows up as a link only.

    Note: If you need to edit your posting further, select the Pencil icon at the upper-right side of the window.

 

How do I access current Badger Woodturner newsletters?

Current newsletters are available to all website visitors.

1, Click on (or touch) the Newsletters & Documents menu tab to view the Document Folders.

2. Click on Newsletters  to view the list of newsletters for the current year.

3. Click on the Download icon (green down arrow) for the newsletter you wish to view.


How do I access past Badger Woodturner newsletters?

Past newsletters are organized in folders by year and are available to all website visitors.

1, Click on (or touch) the Newsletters & Documents menu tab to view the Document Folders.

2. Click on the Newsletters folder icon to view the yearly sub-folders.

3. Click on a Year folder to view the list of newsletters.

4. Click on the Download icon (green down arrow) for the newsletter you wish to view.


How do I access newsletters on my smartphone?
The limited screen area on a small viewing device  does not allow all elements of the home page to be displayed at once. Touch the Menu icon at the bottom of the display to view the home page menu bar, then select NEWSLETTERS & DOCUMENTS. Scroll down to the Newsletters folder icon and select 2020. Scroll down further to display the newsletters. Select the newsletter of your choice.
How do I place a classified ad on the website?

The Classified Ads are available to Badger Woodturner members only.

How do I edit/modify my classified ad?

Use this procedure to to indicate when your sale item has been sold.

  1. Log onto the website with your username/password.

  2. Select (click on/tap) the Forum and Classifieds menu tab.

  3. Select For Sale Classifieds to enter the classified ads.

  4. Select your ad. Select the Pencil icon at the upper-right side of the window to edit your text.
How do I delete my classified ad after an item is sold?
For whatever reason, the system does not allow a club member to directly delete their classified ad. This action must be performed by a system administrator. After your item is sold, notify the club webmaster or another administrator using the Contact Us menu button. They will delete your ad for you.
How do I add a Photo Album to the website?
Every BWT member with an email address may create a Photo Album and post photos to the website.

1. Log onto the website with your username/password.
2. Select (click on/tap) the down arrow to the left of your displayed name to display your profile window.
3. Select Profile to display your Member Profile Page.
4. Under the Website header, select Photo Albums to display your Photo Albums Manager page.
5. Select Add Photo Album to open the Photo Album Manager window.
6. Type in a Photo Album name, and use the Availability drop-down menu to select who will see your album. Add a a description if you wish, then select Save. The Edit Photo Album window opens.
7. From the Edit Photo Album window, you may add one or multiple photos, set the sequence of photos displayed and add descriptions to each photo.
8. From here, you're on your own. The procedures for adding photos depends on which computer, tablet or smartphone you have. Consult your children or grandchildren to proceed from here.
