I will be demonstrating the turning of an ornament and finial on Saturday December 3 at the Farwell Gallery at 4721 Farwell Street in McFarland from 10 am to 4 pm. The ornament demonstration will be in the morning and then in the afternoon I will be turning tops for the kids. There is no cost, and you are welcome to stop by any time. I have attached a few pictures of the ornaments that I have turned for the galleries over the last few weeks. Most of the globes are 2 to 4 inches in diameter and the ornaments are 5 to 11 inches tall. The woods include spalted birch, spalted maple, buckeye burl, cherry burl, black walnut and a verity of hardwoods for finials.
