This is a series of pieces that I have been turning out of white oak fence posts that have come from our property. The weathered fence posts were pulled out of a burn pile and I estimate that they are around 80 years old. It is amazing how well preserved the wood is just 1/4 inch under the weathered surface. They range in height from 4-18 inches and are finished with Watco Danish Oil.
