I'm a new owner of a Laguna lathe 18/36. Previous lathe was a Harbor Freight lathe that I modified with a DC motor. The Laguna is quite the step up and absolutely love it! If you see this and looking to upgrade or just starting, get a Laguna 18/36, if you buy smaller, it won't be long and you'll be wanting this or bigger.

This is probably late but I have a Laguna 18/36 other then some initial problems I love it electronic are very responsive runs absolutely trus and not too large.

Thanks to previous suggestions for a lathe. I am deciding between the recommended Nova Galaxy and the Laguna Revo 18/36. Any comments on the Revo?

I will be turning segmented bowls.
