In addition to the ornament turned for the club gift exchange, I turned several different sized ornaments which were very popular this Christmas. The buckeye burl came from several different pieces showing the wide variability from one burl to another and even within the same burl. These were hollowed and finials of ebony and African blackwood were added. Bases are cherry, osage orange, cedar and buckeye burl and finished with Watco and then buffed.
