This "pen lathe" followed me home today and landed safely in the shop - all 1070 lbs.
It's a Blount pattern maker's lathe with 20" x 60" capacity & v ways. It's 220v, 3 phase with 4 speeds for inboard turning and 4 speeds @ 50% for outboard turning. Overall its just over 9' long. I plan on checking out the electric and see if it will run in the next couple of days. The last thing I needed was another big vintage machine in the shop BUT for $ 75 I had to ransom it before it got shipped to a scrapyard.
Pretty sure I can make it fit ??!!
