I have a Husqvarna that was part of my mower package. I'm really happy with it and would buy one again. I cut about 5 cords of firewood / yr plus my stash of bowl blanks. They are "smart" and shut off it they get hot. For example, let's say you were to put the wrong gas (no oil ) in it. It'll start and then shut down before it turns into an expensive anchor ! Hope this helps.

I was thinking of either another Stihl or a Husqvarna? Anyone had good or bad experience with a Husqvarna?

If you plan on using it a lot get another Stihl they are top quality. I have had mine for twenty years and has served me well. I have both an electric and gas powered chain saws. I did have to replace the electric a few years ago because it was old and hard to get parts.
If you are going to use it very little you might be able to buy a cheeper brand but over time buying quality always pays off.
