I somehow ended up with the glass globes in the attached picture, ranging from 13 ½" to 4" in diameter (still very dusty, especially inside). (The largest one was reputedly on the old bridge over the Wisconsin River in Sauk City.) My idea was to turn a base like a much larger version of the votive candle holder in the foreground. I'd like to give these to an interested turner rather than Freecycle them, to do with them anything they wish.
